Call for Editorial Review Board Members — Marketing Intelligence & Planning
Join the Editorial Review Board of Marketing Intelligence & Planning (MIP). The editorial team is inviting applications from early- to mid-career researchers with expertise relevant to the journal’s to join the journal’s Editorial Review Board (ERB). While a prior history of peer review is ideal, all applicants will be evaluated on their own merits and on the fit of their research record.

MIP is a leading outlet for research in the domain of strategic marketing, publishing concise papers that balance rigor and relevance. The journal welcomes conceptual and theoretical articles, empirical (quantitative/qualitative) research, method-related articles, and analytical modeling approaches across topics including strategic market/marketing decisions, marketing intelligence generation and dissemination, and marketing planning and implementation.
ERB expectations
ERB members are expected to participate in the following activities:
- Act as a reviewer for papers within their area of expertise as invited by the Editor;
- Encourage their network to participate in reviewing for the journal;
- Promote the journal at conferences they attend and within their network.
How to apply
Interested researchers should send their CV to the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Babu John-Mariadoss (bjohnmar@ttu.edu), cc’ing the Commissioning Editor, David Pakes (dpakes@emerald.com), by June 30, 2026. Please indicate in your email the number of papers you would be willing to review per year. Please note that the editorial team will not be able to respond to every applicant individually, but will be in touch if your expertise matches that of the journal.
