13th International Conference on Social Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainable Business (ICSR)

Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary
34 September 2026

The 13th International Conference on Social Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainable Business (ICSR) invites submissions from scholars and practitioners interested in corporate social responsibility, ethics, sustainability, and related interdisciplinary fields. The conference theme, Responsible and Crisis-Resilient Spaces, addresses the growing need for cities, institutions, and businesses to respond to global challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, social inequality, and technological transformation.

Urban environments today concentrate both vulnerabilities and opportunities. They are major contributors to environmental stress, yet also serve as hubs for innovation, governance, and collective action. This conference aims to foster dialogue and knowledge exchange on how to build inclusive, adaptive, and resilient spaces that support sustainable development and societal well-being.

We welcome contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including urban studies, management, marketing, environmental science, public policy, and related areas. The conference provides a platform for presenting research, sharing practical insights, and engaging in interdisciplinary discussions.

Indicative topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Environmental management, ESG, and CSR in urban contexts
  • Urban sustainability and climate adaptation
  • Sectoral sustainability (energy, transport, tourism, retail)
  • Circular economy at regional and urban levels
  • Governance and resilience in regional development
  • Sustainable consumption and consumer behaviour
  • Environmental policy and sustainability indicators
  • Corporate responsibility in crisis prevention
  • Social inequality, housing, and cost of living challenges
  • Smart cities, AI integration, and ethical implications
  • Ethics and morality in urban spaces
