Social Media Editor

Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) is introducing a new service role to strengthen its evolving communications strategy and deepen engagement within the global B2B and industrial marketing community. We invite expressions of interest from colleagues who wish to support IMM’s mission through editorially oriented communication that promotes published research, fosters scholarly dialogue, and enhances the journal’s visibility.

Social Media Editor (non-paid)

The Social Media Editor will help shape IMM’s presence across digital channels, with an initial focus on LinkedIn. Responsibilities include developing short, accessible posts that highlight newly published articles, special issues, author achievements, events, and other journal activities. The role also involves summarizing research in engaging and accurate ways, as well as helping to cultivate constructive interactions around IMM’s content.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Editors-in-Chief and Co-Editors as part of IMM’s broader initiative to increase the journal’s visibility, deepen community engagement, and support a vibrant global network of B2B and industrial marketing scholars.

Eligibility & Expectations

  • Full-time faculty affiliation at a university (all career stages are welcome)
  • Willingness to contribute approximately 2 hours per week to the IMM community through this role
  • Active engagement in B2B and/or industrial marketing research
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Collegial, reliable working style
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to and shaping IMM’s evolving communication activities
