The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Marketing Strategy SIG is delighted to announce that Professor Christian Homburg has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Mahajan Award for Lifetime Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research.

A committee of three distinguished scholars, including accomplished researchers and former recipients of the Mahajan Award, carefully evaluated the outstanding pool of nominees. After careful consideration, they unanimously selected Prof. Homburg for this esteemed recognition.

Prof. Christian Homburg is Professor of Marketing, Distinguished Professorial Fellow at the University of Manchester, and Director of the Institute for Marketing-Oriented Management at the University of Mannheim. Prof. Homburg is a leading expert in the fields of marketing, strategy, and innovation, with a particular focus on the intersection of customer relationship management, market-oriented management, and sales management. He has also played a central role in advancing the field of marketing through his leadership in various academic and industry initiatives, including his involvement with the Mannheim Business School and his extensive work in consulting and training for top-tier companies. His work continues to shape both theoretical frameworks and practical applications in marketing strategy, influencing both scholars and business practitioners globally.
