At the Yale Center for Customer Insights, leading academics and global marketing experts collaborate to uncover innovative ways to understand consumers and drive growth. For two decades, YCCI has hosted events bringing together top minds from academia and industry to discuss key topics in marketing, consumer behavior, product innovation, and analytics.

The Yale Center for Customer Insights will hold its annual Yale InsightsOn Conference on May 7-8, 2026 at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut.

Abstracts are invited on research pertaining to:

  • Customer experience
  • Data driven personalization
  • Branding
  • Customer analytics
  • Behavioral economics
  • AI and machine learning
  • Data and trust

The conference will begin with a reception on Wednesday evening, May 6, and will end midday on Friday, May 8.

Academic presentations will take place on Friday, May 8. In addition to academic speakers, the program will include leading practitioners in marketing, insights, innovation, and design across various industries, taking place on Thursday, May 7.

The presenter registration fee, travel up to $750 (including airfare, train, taxis, mileage or ride shares), and two nights of hotel expenses will be covered by Yale University.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • All empirical papers (behavioral, quantitative, and managerial) are encouraged.
  • Submitted abstracts should be one to two pages in length, and double-spaced in.pdf format, with your last name as the title of the document. In the body of your email, please include the title of the paper, names, affiliations, and email addresses of each author.
  • Given the high volume of submissions, we are only able to accept papers presented by faculty members.
  • Please include the first and last name of who will be presenting at the conference.
  • Abstracts (in.pdf format) should be sent to ycci@som.yale.edu by February 6, 2026.
  • Feel free to share this information with any new faculty members within your department.
