2025 MSI Young Scholars Program 
Applications Due: November 9th, 2025

The Marketing Science Institute (MSI) is accepting applications and nominations for the .

We are planning to convene a 2025 class of Young Scholars May 31st to June 3^rd at Meta’s new Hudson Yards campus in New York City. Over four days, the class will participate in the following activities:

• Individual research presentations that offer opportunities for future study that could benefit from academic-practitioner collaboration;
• Integrative exercises building upon participant presentations, focusing on how MSI can better serve the academic field, and how the field can help MSI and its members;
• Collaborative workshops with Meta researchers and scientists to explore interesting consumer and marketing questions.
• Excursions, networking, and opportunities for cohort building.

This year’s MSI Young Scholars Program will be hosted at Meta’s Hudson Yards campus in New York City, a dynamic hub of technological and marketing innovation in the heart of Manhattan. The venue offers an energizing setting for scholarly exchange and idea generation, while providing marketing scholars a rare opportunity to engage directly with leading practitioners who are shaping the future of digital platforms and consumer engagement. This environment will foster meaningful conversations about translating academic insights into practice, encourage cross-disciplinary collaborations, and help build lasting connections between the academic community and marketing professionals.

MSI welcomes applications from all scholars 3-7 years post-graduation or first faculty appointment. Please note that all applications are self-submissions, and the application form must be completed by the eligible scholar. No nomination from a senior scholar is required.

If you are a senior faculty member interested in supporting a young scholar, we ask that you forward this message to the scholar and encourage them to apply. In addition, please send an email with the scholar’s name and email address to executivedirector@msi.org to indicate your support.

Applications are due on November 9th, 2025, and can be submitted . Selections will be made in early winter, 2026. At that time, all applicants will receive notification from MSI and the Young Scholars Committee, Bart Bronnenberg, Ravi Dhar, and Rebecca Slotegraaf, regarding their application for the Young Scholars Class of 2025. Selected scholars will be asked to commit to attending the conference as a firm condition for receiving this prestigious honor and should anticipate active engagement with MSI following the conference. A conference registration fee will apply.
