6th Annual AIM (AI in Management) Conference 2026
We are happy to announce the 6th Annual AIM (AI in Management) Conference in Los Angeles, March 20th & 21st, 2026. This conference is co-chaired by (SNU Business School, Seoul National University), , and (Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California).

We invite submissions to bring together research from Economics, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Statistics, and Operations Research on the topic of Artificial Intelligence. We welcome papers on the following topics, though other papers on AI in management are also welcome:
- Effectiveness of Generative AI in Education, Creativity, and Ideation
- Identifying Fake Reviews, Posts, and Accounts
- AI Ethics, Bias, and Discrimination
- Economics of Artificial Intelligence
- AI in Automation / Job Replacement
- Use of ML / Deep Learning in Advertising
- Use of ML / Deep Learning in Regulating Platforms
- Application of ML Methods in Management / Marketing / Information Systems Research
- Applications of Natural Language Processing or Machine Vision
- Development of Novel Statistical Techniques with Business Applications
- Large Language Models
Conference presentations are expected to run for 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A. The event may include keynote presentations from industry and academic experts.
Best Student Paper Awards
- The Vithala Rao award of up to $5,000 USD for selected PhD and post-doctoral fellows, at accredited universities, for best paper(s) presented at the 2026 AIM conference.
- The Dominique Hansens award of up to $5,000 USD for selected PhD and post-doctoral fellows, at accredited universities, for best paper(s) presented at the 2026 AIM conference.
Best Junior Faculty Paper Awards
- The Stephen M Shugan award of up to $5,000 USD for junior faculty who present the best paper(s) at the 2026 AIM conference.
- The Cheryl & Gerard Tellis award of up to $5,000 USD for junior faculty who present the best paper(s) at the 2026 AIM conference.

Call for Proposals for 2026 AIM Awards
The USC Marshall Center for Global Innovation is happy to announce a Call for Proposals for up to four awards of up to the $20,000 for best papers presented at the 2026 AI in Management (AIM) conference, as follows:
Best Student Paper Awards
- The Vithala Rao award of up to $5,000 USD for PhD students and post-doctoral fellows, at accredited universities, for best papers presented at the 2026 AIM conference.
- The Dominique Hanssens award of up to $5,000 USD for PhD students and post-doctoral fellows, at accredited universities, for best papers presented at the 2026 AIM conference.
Best Junior Faculty Paper Awards
- The Stephen M Shugan award of up to $5,000 USD for junior faculty who present the best paper(s) at the 2026 AIM conference.
- The Cheryl & Gerard Tellis award of up to $5,000 USD for junior faculty who present the best paper(s) at the 2026 AIM conference.
To qualify for the above awards, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, or junior faculty, at the time of submission, must:
- Submit a full working paper by the deadline (under 40 pages)
- Be first author of the paper
- Present the paper at the 2026 AIM conference
- Not have presented the paper at a prior AIM conference
- Not won an award for the same paper at a prior AIM conference
- Not have published the paper in a journal at the time of submission
