Data Request for Meta-Analysis on “Inclusive Imagery Advertising and Consumer Responses”
Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jiayang Li, and I am a PhD student specializing in Marketing at Jilin University, China. My research team and I are currently leading a meta-analysis titled Inclusive Imagery Advertising and Consumer Responses—a project aimed at systematically synthesizing both published literature and unpublished research data in this field. This meta-analysis is currently in the revision stage for submission to the Journal of Business Research. Based on feedback from peer reviewers, we need to incorporate more unpublished studies.
If you have any research findings—whether published or unpublished—that involve inclusive imagery (such as plus-size models, elderly models, disability models, ethnic minority models, or LGBTQ+ models) and relate to consumer responses, we sincerely hope to have further communication with you. We look forward to the opportunity to cite your research in our meta-analysis.
To ensure the rigor of my meta-analysis, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share the following information (adjustments can be made based on your actual availability):
- The key research hypotheses of your study;
- Detailed research design (e.g., participant grouping, descriptive statistics of participants, and the manipulation and measurement methods of variables);
- Complete statistical analysis results of the study (including convertible statistical values such as correlations, F-statistics, t-statistics, M and SD).
Please rest assured that all information you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality. We commit to using it solely for academic research purposes, and we will acknowledge your contribution in both the “Acknowledgements” section and the “References” section of the meta-analysis. If you wish, I can also share the preliminary analysis results with you before the research is published, or we can jointly discuss the interpretation of the data.
We fully understand that sharing data from unpublished research may involve academic privacy concerns or plans for subsequent publication, and we respect any hesitations you may have in this regard. If you are willing to engage in further communication, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. I am more than happy to adjust the way the data is used to meet your specific needs.
I eagerly anticipate your contact and would like to express my sincere gratitude for your support of academic research.
Best regards,
Jiayang Li
