JMR Scholarly Insights by ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø DocSIG – Fall 2025 Edition
Hello DocSIG Community,
We’re excited to announce that JMR Scholarly Insights by ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø DocSIG is back for the 2025–2026 academic year, and we’re calling on our vibrant community to get involved!
ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø DocSIG Scholarly Insights is a unique collaboration with the (JMR) that offers doctoral students an incredible opportunity to:
- Connect with leading scholars in marketing,
- Dive deeper into recently published research,
- Conduct author interviews, and
- Write insightful summaries that are featured on our Scholarly Insights blog.
This is a fantastic way to build relationships, strengthen your academic voice, and contribute to the broader marketing research conversation.

As we head into fall, discover new opportunities to grow and engage. For the October 2025 Issue, we’re featuring a remarkable lineup of articles written by brilliant research teams:
- by Peter Ebbes, Frank Germann, and Rajdeep Grewal
- by Xiang Hui, Ginger Zhe Jin, and Meng Liu
- by Rachel Gershon and Zhenling Jiang
- by Andong Cheng and Ashley Stadler Blank
- by Dinesh Puranam, Sungjin Kim, Jihoon Hong, and Hai Che
To encourage broad participation, priority will be given to current ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø DocSIG members (i.e., those with an active ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø membership and Doctoral Students as their Special Interest Group) and who have not contributed to JMR Scholarly Insights in the past two years. Previous contributors will be placed on a waitlist and contacted if additional spots become available.
If you are interested in any of the articles and want to write a blog post, please complete the sign-up form by Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
The remaining tentative timeline for the October 2025 issue is as follows:
- Announcement of teams and assigned articles by DocSIG Scholarly Insights Team: October 7
- Submission of Interview Questions: October 20
- Submission of Blog Posts: November 20
