I would like to introduce you to  edited by P.K. Kannan, Bernd Schmitt, and Gerrit van Bruggen. MarkTech is an innovative new journal in the academic marketing field, both in terms of its editorial style and its content. MarkTech focuses on rapid publication of research on various cutting-edge technologies that are affecting marketing. This includes everything from consumer behavior to marketing science and marketing strategy. Technologies as diverse as machine learning and AI, metaverse and AR/VR, social media, big data, crypto-marketing, and more would be featured and examined in marketing contexts in the journal.

MarkTech aims to turn around the first decision to authors within 60 days and allows for a single round of revision. will publish early stream research that needs fast publication. The journal would use a variety of paper formats including, for example, (1) timely short empirical papers; (2) review papers or a conceptual paper with a provocative thesis; (3) “big picture” conceptual papers; (4) collaborative papers between an academic and a practitioner; as well as (5) more usual multi-studies experimental papers or modeling papers. While there is no explicit page limit, we expect most manuscript to be between 10 – 20 print pages including figures and references.  In general, authors can expect that their submissions will be screened by the Editors-in-Chief and handled by an Editorial Board Member.

Manuscripts will be published shortly after acceptance.  The journal will be made freely available during the start-up period.  We are already receiving our first submissions and you can find out more at our  or submit your article .  Please let me know if you have any questions.
