Hope this email finds you well.
The XVI International Conference of the Academy of Wine Business Research (AWBR) entitled Shaping the Future of Global Wine Business: Innovation, Resilience, and Strategic Evolution will take place from the 3rdto 6thFebruary 2026 in Adelaide (Australia) organised by the Adelaide Business School (and soon-to-be Adelaide University).
We welcome a wide range of different topics and research areas related to wine business: digital space and social media, sustainability, tourism and hospitality, consumer behaviour, retailing, management, emerging market focus, etc.
You can submit:
- competitive papers (standard conference papers based on rigorous theoretical or empirical research, up to 10 pages all included)
- extended abstracts (up to 800 words for researchers who would like to present their preliminary results of a research project, or their findings based on rigorous theoretical or empirical research in a short form).

The conference will be held in person. We are planning several conference activities, including a plenary session, a roundtable discussion with wine industry representatives, parallel sessions, and much more!
Alongside these activities, we will organise a Masterclass on Australian wines, a wine tour in one or more of the South Australian wine regions, and other events to complement your visit to Adelaide and South Australia.
We will keep you updated on activities and deadlines for conference submission and registration.
