Call for Applications: “Young Scholars in Tech-Marketing” Spotlight

Are you a PhD student working at the intersection of technology and marketing? Are you preparing for the job market this year? We want to feature you.

The 蹤獲扦夥厙 Technology SIG is launching a new spotlight series“Young Scholars in Tech-Marketing”to highlight emerging researchers whose work is shaping the future of tech-focused marketing scholarship. Selected scholars will be featured in Technology SIG newsletters, social media, and the SIG website.

What Were Looking For
We invite applications from current PhD students who:

  • Are conducting innovative, high-impact research related to technology, innovation, and interactivity in marketing
  • Are on or approaching the academic job market

What the Spotlight Includes
Selected scholars will be featured with:

  • Headshot picture
  • Job market paper title and short abstract
  • A short professional bio
  • Links to a personal website, CV, and/or LinkedIn
  • Included in a special issue of our Technology SIG Newsletter prior to the 2025 Summer 蹤獲扦夥厙 and advertised on social media

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a current PhD student or candidate in marketing or a related field
  • The PhD student must be a current member of 蹤獲扦夥厙s Technology SIG and Doc SIG (information on becoming a member below).

How to Apply

  • Submit your application(see link below)
  • Faculty are also welcome to nominate students for consideration.

  • Personal information
  • Headshot picture
  • Job market paper title and abstract (100 words max.)
  • A short professional bio (100 words max.)
  • Brief summaryof research interests (bullet point format; 100 words max.)
  • Links to a personal website, CV, and/or LinkedIn
