Apology for Unsolicited Emails
Introduction
Some ELMAR subscribers may have received unsolicited emails starting in November. That is now no longer the case.

There has been a technical error – not a purposeful act – that has affected some ELMAR subscribers. The error occurred in November, when some subscribers began to receive unsolicited non-ELMAR announcements from the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø on their email address used for ELMAR. Those emails have now stopped.
Since I have my own, shall we call them “technical means”, of checking on such things, I really should have caught this immediately. Yet I did not notice the error until six months had passed. As such I feel the need to add a personal apology to this note.
Precious little trust remains with respect to software-based platforms and at some level I hate to contribute to further erosion of that trust. On the other hand, given the number, scope and scale of these platforms perhaps trust was never the appropriate response.
