• This conference is a meeting place (a forum) where budding/young researchers/practitioners meet and interact with experienced/expert researchers/practitioners.
• Accordingly, we have invited 25 senior/expert researchers in the marketing/retailing area as GRBM Research Fellows, who have graciously accepted our invitation.
• All the GRBM Fellows are established/chaired professors – many of them current or former deans/ associate deans/department chairs/book authors/journal editors/center directors/ association presidents, and more. Above all, they are all great researchers!
• There will be 3 plenary sessions (one each conference day and open to all conference attendees) in which some GRBM research fellows and corporate leaders will share their thoughts on the future of marketing and retailing.
• There will be 8 parallel sessions each with 4 talks, or a total of 32 presentations to be made by young/budding researchers and GRBM Research Fellows. No more than two parallel sessions at one time, to give an opportunity for participants to attend the session they want.
• The annual citation award winners for 2024 and 2025 will be announced at this conference.
• Breakfast, coffee, lunch, drinks, and special dinner are complimentary for conference registrants on June 9 and 10, with breakfast and lunch on June 11.
• To encourage participation, we have kept the registration fee low (early-bird fee of $200; $100 for students) and blocked some rooms at the nearby Beeman Hotel for attendees to book at a low room rate of $189/night+ taxes (includes valet parking and free shuttle service to conference venue). But to avail of these two opportunities, you should register and book rooms as early as possible, since the conference registration and blocked rooms and may be filled up, but definitely by Thu. May 15.
