Summer Workshop in Marketing Science

This workshop introduces participants to the central research areas, important models, methods, and findings in Marketing Science and Economics. It is targeted at researchers in marketing and other related fields such as operations management, information systems, applied economics and public policy. The purpose of the workshop is to help the participants gain a solid and systematic exposure and training in fundamental as well as frontier problems and methods in Marketing Science and Economics, such as search, pricing, product design, distribution channels, advertising and promotions, information design, platforms, digital marketing and social media, ML/AI and Algorithms, nonstandard preferences, structural models, causal inference, demand estimation, etc. Both theoretical and empirical research will be covered. The specific topic areas may vary across time depending upon relevance and interest. The workshop will also provide opportunities for participants to discuss their ideas and research with other participants as well as with the faculty advisors. All selected participants should fully attend the entire workshop.
