Our research team is currently conducting a meta-analysis on regulatory mode theory. To this end, we are requesting that any researchers with unpublished work, manuscripts under review, or file drawer experiments or surveys related to this topic consider sharing their findings with us by February 21, 2025.
The criteria for the studies we are currently searching for are as follows:
- ±á´Ç·ÉÌýlocomotion and assessment independently influence goal pursuit or decision-making. The measure of outcome can involve: a. Intentions (e.g., attitude toward products, brands, or services, willingness to purchase, willingness to try) b. Behaviors (e.g., purchase, donation amount, etc.) c. Well-being (e.g., emotions, mood, affect) d. Performance (e.g., work performance, achieving sales targets, comparing performances of leadership styles). The outcome can be either self-reported or observed and may be based on intention or actual behavior.
- Locomotion and/or assessment can be measured (e.g., through a scale), manipulated experimentally, or analyzed via text analysis (e.g., from Facebook).
If you believe your studies meet these criteria, we kindly request that you share the specific statistics needed for the meta-analysis, such as sample sizes, cell means and standard deviations, Pearson correlation coefficients, t-values, proportions, and basic elements of the experimental design. We are also open to receiving the original data or draft manuscripts from authors if they agree. Please email Tabitha Thomas at tabitha.thomas@business.uq.edu.au or thomas.tabitha@gmail.com
