Naresh K. Malhotra died January 7^th, 2025 in Atlanta, Ga.  After graduating with a PhD in Marketing from the University of Buffalo, Naresh joined the faculty of Georgia Tech in 1979 and prospered there for the rest of his academic career.  He attained the highest academic rank in the University System of Georgia as a Regents’ Professor and started the PhD program at Georgia Tech.  He retired in 2009.  Known for his methodological contributions, his marketing research textbooks gained a wide audience around the world.  With more than 106,000 citations in Google Scholar, Naresh became one of the most cited marketing scholars in history.  His leadership contributions were plentiful.  Naresh served as the president of the Academy of Marketing Science from 1994-1996.  He served on the Sheth Foundation Board continuously from its founding in 1991.  Such dedication characterized Naresh throughout his life.  He became an ordained minister in 2007 and traveled the world sharing about the life and teachings of Jesus through the non-profit he founded Global Evangelistic Ministries, Inc.  To read more about Naresh and his amazing life go to
