Journal of Marketing Editor in Chief Designate Announced

The 蹤獲扦夥厙 is pleased to announce the selection of Jan-Benedict E.M. Steenkamp as the next Editor in Chief of the Journal of Marketing. His three-year term formally begins on July 1, 2025. Steenkamp takes the reins of the Journal of Marketing from current Editor in Chief, Shrihari Sridhar. As Editor in Chief, Steenkamp will work with a team of coeditors, associate editors, and editorial review board members to expand the Journal of Marketings tradition of high-quality research.

JMs unique positioning as the premier marketing journal for substantively important marketing questions relevant to societal stakeholders, covering all domains (the big tent), is its greatest strength and something to be celebrated, noted Steenkamp.

Professor Steenkamps three-year term formally begins on July 1, 2025. He and his team will begin processing new manuscripts on March 1, 2025, while the existing team of editors will stay with revisions. The current team will be working very closely with the incoming team to ensure a seamless transition. We know that JM will reach even greater heights in the years to come!
