Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to let you know that we shall be having a conference on Judgment and Decision Making in India on 5th and 6th October 2024 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, at the foothills of the Himalayas, easily connected from New Delhi. This is the only JDM conference in the global south and is a great opportunity for dialogue .
The focus is on understanding the cognitive, neural, and social dimensions of judgment and decision making. We welcome different disciplinary perspectives, theories, and methods from cognitive and social psychology, neuroscience, computational approaches, anthropology, ecology and ethology, philosophy, behavioral economics or behavioral finance, consumer research, organizational decision making, policy decisions, (big) data analytics, computer science, and other related fields. Researchers working on human and non-human species and artificial agents are encouraged to apply. Accordingly, cognitive, social, anthropological, economic, mathematical, biological, and ecological approaches are welcome.
The last date to submit abstract is 10th September 2024. You are welcome to submit abstracts only for the conference or additionally, mention if you would like to be considered for a book chapter. We are hoping to bring out a volume with a leading international publishing company.
