Claus Wilke is a data scientist and computational biologist at The University of Texas at Austin. He is known for his work on popular R packages for data visualization, such as cowplot, ggridges, and ggtext, as well as his contributions to the package ggplot2. He is also the author of the book Fundamentals of Data Visualization, published in 2019, which provides a concise introduction to effectively visualizing many different types of data sets.
