On May 13, 2024, we will host the second annual SJDM doctoral symposium!

The symposium is targeted to PhD students interested in JDM and related fields, in any program, at any stage.

The symposium will take place virtually on May 13, 2024 at:

8am-noon PT
11am-3pm ET
4pm-8pm GMT
5pm-9pm CEST

Session 1. Get to know the different SJDM subcommunities

8-9:15am PT/11am-12:15pm ET/5-6:15pm CEST

– JDM is a very diverse field, with members belonging to many different subfields and disciplines (psychology, marketing, OB, policy, economics, etc.). This session will give you the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of renowned faculty representing different subfields within the community.

Session 2. SJDM student poster award winning showcase

9:45-10:45am PT/12:45-1:45pm ET/6:45-7:45pm CEST

– This session will feature presentations by the winners of the SJDM student poster awards and honorable mentions from the last edition of the annual meeting.

Session 3. SJDM Industry Collaboration Panel

11am-12pm PT/2-3pm ET/8-9pm CEST

We’re excited to offer this session for students who are eager to learn about opportunities outside academic spaces. This is also a great opportunity to highlight the contributions of SJDM scholars working in industry.
