Hi all,

My name is Cristian Buzeta, an assistant professor at the University of Chile. Currently, I’m conducting a meta-analysis of the relationship between motivations for social media use (e.g., Entertainment, Integration and Social Interaction, Personal identity, Information, Remuneration, Empowerment) and Consumers’ Online Brand-Related Activities (COBRAs; e.g., Consumption, Contribution, Creation).

To this end, I’m looking for unpublished works (e.g., working papers, manuscripts in press, conference proceedings, master theses, doctoral dissertations) studying the relationship between motivations and COBRAs. Researchers who may have such kind of work on the topic, feel free to consider sharing their findings, manuscripts, results, and/or the necessary information to compute effect sizes (e.g., means, standard deviations, t-statistics, sample sizes, correlation, regression coefficients, reliability estimates of each measure) with me via email (cbuzetar@fen.uchile.cl) by 30 June 2024. However, if the researchers prefer to share their original data and let me derive those results, this is fine, too.

Anonymity can be preserved to the extent that contributing researchers prefer, and I would be happy to cite working papers/unpublished manuscripts in ways consistent with researchers’ preferences.

Thanks in advance for your collaboration. I’ll be happy to share the findings with anyone interested upon acceptance of the project.

Should you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email.

Best,

Cristian Buzeta
