1st IMM South America Summit

We are excited to announce that the 1st Industrial Marketing Management South America Summit will be held from 2²Ô»åÌý– 4th October 2024 at Insper, São Paulo, Brazil ().

Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) serves as the premier platform for academic and practical research tailored to the requirements of marketing professionals and scholars engaged in the study and practice of industrial and business-to-business markets. The journal’s worldwide influence is exemplified by the participation of experts and practitioners from diverse regions across the globe who contribute their most recent discoveries aimed at enhancing the performance and productivity of industrial markets. This all-encompassing approach continuously informs readers about the most current research and best practices, empowering them to make well-informed marketing decisions and develop effective strategies in the dynamic realm of global industrial and business-to-business markets.

°Õ³ó±ðÌý1st Industrial Marketing Management South America Summit seeks to unite academics and practitioners from South America, as well as other regions, who share an interest in business-to-business marketing, with the goal of creating and/or strengthening collaborative research networks. This summit also intends to continue the tradition established by the European and American Industrial Marketing Management summits, which include promoting discussions, sharing cutting-edge research, and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial markets on a global scale. The event will showcase recent developments in both theory and practice within the realm of global industrial and business-to-business marketing. Leveraging the success of past summits and the rich heritage of Industrial Marketing Management, this gathering assures dynamic conversations, visionary insights, and effective answers.

The registration for the event will commence on Wednesday (2ndOctober) and will continue through Thursday morning (3rd October). On the afternoon of Wednesday (2nd October) , an event with academics and practitioners will provide an opportunity for industry experts to share insights regarding the challenges and trends that have emerged in the post-COVID-19 era. Additionally, there will be a discussion and workshop focused on fostering closer collaboration between practitioners and academics within research projects. On Thursday and Friday (3rd – 4th October), academics will have the chance to present their research on industrial markets.

On the evening of 2nd October, we have planned an informal welcome reception. Your conference fee covers one gala dinner on Thursday, as well as two lunches on Thursday and Friday, along with multiple coffee breaks. Moreover, an award ceremony recognizing the best conference paper will be held during the gala dinner on Thursday (3rd October). We will finalize the program once we determine which papers have been accepted. The ultimate program will provide information on the conference fee, venue address, and more.

Deadline for paper submission is 1st August, 2024. Following the conference, and as in past years, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit to a special issue of Industrial Marketing Management.
