We would like to announce that this year, INSNA’s (International Network for Social Network Analysis) eagerly anticipated and prestigious annual conference – Sunbelt 2024 – is scheduled for 24-30 June and will take place at Heriot-Watt University Campus in Edinburgh, Scotland, providing a conducive environment for such engagement.

The main common theme of the conference this year is Resilience & Networks, systems, and relations; however, it is a truly interdisciplinary event, featuring papers on all aspects of social science, mathematics, humanities, physics, etc.

Call for papers

Given the significance of the conference, we would like to ensure that authors have ample opportunity to contribute their valuable work.

The original deadline for paper submissions was 4th February, however, the organizing committee has decided to extend the call for papers until 19th February 23:59 GMT.

Oral, online and poster presentation options are available. All abstracts, regardless of submission type, should be between 250 – 500 words.

Authors can choose whether they would like to be considered within the theme of an organised session.

For authors who submitted their work before the initial deadline of 4th February, the review process is already underway.

Notifications regarding acceptance or feedback will be sent within the next two weeks.

As for submissions received after 4th February, the review process will commence promptly, and we should be able to notify all accepted paper presenters by the end of February.
