PDMA Doctoral Consortium (July 31-August 2, 2024)

The at The Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University and the Product Development & Management Association (PDMA) are cosponsoring the sixth in Syracuse, New York. The Consortium will be held as an in-person event from July 31–August 2, 2024.

We encourage doctoral students to apply – the deadline is March 15, 2024. Twenty-five students will be accepted for this consortium. There is no registration fee for the selected doctoral fellows. Also, all meals, housing, social activities, and local transportation will be provided free of charge. Students are only asked to cover their transportation costs to and from Syracuse, NY.

The aim of the Consortium is to enhance the development of doctoral students conducting dissertation research in the domain of innovation and new product development. Students accepted to the consortium will be honored as Doctoral Student Fellows and have a unique opportunity to network and share ideas with leading innovation scholars in a collaborative setting. The two-and-a-half-day event will offer a variety of engaging and interesting activities, including faculty presentations, a student speed-networking session, one-on-one mentoring, roundtable research discussions, and industry tours. In addition, Doctoral Student Fellows will have the chance to compete for research support as well as the opportunity to present at the Annual PDMA Research Forum.
