Dear colleagues,

We are excited to announce the 16th Maastricht Behavioral and Experimental Economics Symposium (M-BEES 2024) and the 9th Maastricht Behavioral Economic Policy Symposium (M-BEPS 2024). Both symposia will take place at Maastricht University, on June 17 and 18, 2024. We are delighted to welcome four excellent keynote speakers:

M-BEES (17 June 2024):
Ernesto Dal Bó (University of California, Berkeley)
Roberto Weber (University of Zurich)

M-BEPS (18 June 2024):
Michèle Belot (Cornell University)
Nida Broughton (Director of Economic Policy at the Behavioural Insights Team)

As in previous years, the broad topic of M-BEES is theory and experiments, bringing together researchers to discuss if and how economic experiments can inform economic theory and vice versa.

M-BEPS brings together behavioral and experimental researchers from different disciplines as well as policymakers and practitioners interested in how behavioral economics can inform policies in government and business.

The deadline for submission of full research papers is March 1, 2024. All details about the submission procedure can be found on the website of the symposia ().

We hope to see you in Maastricht in June!

Thomas Meissner and Peter Werner
