JACR Issue on
Linguistics and Language in Consumer Behavior
Issue Editors: Ann Kronrod, Sarah Moore, and Peeter Verlegh
In recent years, there has been exponentially growing interest in understanding the role of language in consumer psychology and behavior. This issue is focused on how linguistic research can offer new insights into consumer behavior, and what new methods, concepts, theories, and findings can be developed to investigate this proliferating field. We hope that the research in this issue will also help better integrate and adapt linguistic theories to explain consumer behavior, and extend the methodological toolkit for language research in marketing.
