Cultivating a Research PipelineProgram for Assistant Professors Begins on January 24, 2024
Dr. Dwayne Gremler (Bowling Green State University) and Dr. Christina Sichtmann (University of Vienna) would like to make you aware of a program that they believe would be of interest to assistant professors in marketing, management, and other related disciplines. Responses to a survey they distributed last fall (on ELMAR) suggest many assistant professors are interested in discovering more about how to cultivate a research pipeline during the early stages of their academic career.
Based in part on what they learned from the survey, Dwayne and Christina have partnered to design a live, online program entitled Cultivating a Research Pipelinethat will be offered starting on January 24, 2024. (For a brief video discussion of what a research pipeline is, click .)
The program is intended to provide insights to junior faculty about effectively and efficiently organizing their research endeavors to set the stage for a successful academic career. Both Dwayne () and Christina () have extensive experience in working with young scholars as they grapple with writing academic papers and navigating through the publication process.
To get an overview of the program and its tentative dates, more details can be found .
Information about how to register can be found near the bottom of that page. (Applications must be received by January 15, 2024.)
Dwayne and Christina believe this program could be quite helpful for relatively new assistant professors, particularly in business schools, as they begin their academic career and are charged with publishing impactful research. If you have questions regarding the program, please contact Dwayne at dg@gremler.net or Christina at christina@flyhigh.academy.
