Call for ACRA Hall of Fame Award
American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA)
The ACRA e-board is seeking nominations for the ACRA Hall of Fame for individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the field of retailing and its advancement either in terms of teaching, research, and service. Individuals considered for this award must have made long-lasting contributions to the academic community and had a positive influence in moving the discipline forward. The nominees could either be retired or active in the field and an ACRA member of good standing. Individuals can either self-nominate or have a colleague nominate on their behalf.
Please send nominations to acra2016@gmail.com by Jan 30th 2024 and should include:
- A letter (not to exceed 3 pages) outlining the nominee’s accomplishments and why they should be considered for this award
- A current CV of the nominee
The ACRA e-board will be the evaluating committee and will consider the following:
- Teaching and mentoring of students
- Research contributions
- Service to the academic community
- Service to the field of retailing
- Sustainability of the above contributions
The nominees must obtain a 100% vote of the e-board and two-thirds vote of the membership that responds to the nomination. The award will be presented at the 2024 ACRA/ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Conference and will receive complimentary conference registration. For more information about the conference please see the .
