In the context of this Special Issue “”, the University of Sussex, the University of Pavia and Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) will organize a free-of-charge paper development workshop on June 10th , 2024 at the ITIR-University of Pavia (Italy).

The workshop will begin at 9AM. The special issue guest editors will be present at the workshop to provide developmental feedback to authors of the extended abstracts ahead of the submission of the full-length manuscript and to enhance the quality and contribution of submissions in order to maximize the impact of the SI.

Only authors of selected extended abstracts will be invited to this workshop. Please note that presentation at the workshop is not a guarantee of acceptance of a paper for publication and that participation in the workshop is not a prerequisite for acceptance of the paper and publication in the special issue.

To apply for participation in the Paper Development Workshop, interested authors are required to submit an extended abstract of 5 pages single-spaced (excluding tables, figures and references). The extended abstract needs to include all the following sections:

1) the phenomenon of interest with regard to the relationship between B2B marketing and the CCIs for scholarly impact;

2) overview of the relevant literature;

3) the methodology;

4) findings (actual or expected);

5) expected theoretical contributions;

6) implications for managers and educators;

7) specific areas for which the author(s) would like feedback during the PDW or questions around how to craft the paper for the IMM Special Issue.

Applications for the workshop will need to be sent to the PDW.B2B.CCIs@sussex.ac.uk and include as two separate PDF attachments:

  1. Title page with name of each author, contact information, affiliation, and three keywords;
  2. Extended abstract (without the contact details).

Early applications are appreciated, and no applications will be accepted after February 10th, 2024 at 6PM (UK time). Applicants will be notified by email of the outcome of their application by March 29th, 2024 .

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Deadline for extended abstracts submission for Paper Development Workshop: February 10th , 2024.
  • Notification of PDW acceptance to authors: March 29th, 2024.
  • PDW day in Pavia: June 10th , 2024.
  • Full paper submission opens: August 1st , 2024.
