2024 Frontiers in Service Conference

[Amelia Island, FL — June 27-30, 2024]

The Rockwood School of Marketing at Florida State University is pleased to announce that abstract submissions are now open for the 2024 Frontiers in Service Conference. The Frontiers Conference will be held in beautiful Amelia Island, Florida from June 27-30, 2024.

Here are some important details about the conference:

• Submissions: Abstracts are limited to 450 words and can be on any service-related topic; however, there is a preference for work that is consistent with the overall conference theme, Improving Lives Through Service.
• Venue: The conference will be held at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, an oceanside property that sits on over 1,000 acres and features multiple pools, two golf courses, championship tennis courts, and miles of biking trails.
• Travel to the Omni Resort: Amelia Island is a barrier island that can be easily accessed by two short bridges on either end of the island. It’s roughly a 30-minute drive from the Jacksonville, Florida International Airport. Ridesharing, taxi services, and shuttles are options for the drive to the Omni Resort. Jacksonville has dozens of daily direct flights from New York and other key hubs.
• Lodging: We have reserved rooms at the Omni Amelia Island Resort for $269 per night, which is a heavily discounted price. All rooms face the Atlantic Ocean and overlook the property’s two pools. You can make a reservation by visiting the conference website () or following the link .
• Doctoral Consortium: The SERVSIG/Frontiers in Service doctoral consortium will take place on June 26-27, immediately prior to the conference. This year’s consortium is organized by Mirella Kleijnen and Jens Hogreve, with local support from Stacey Robinson.
