The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Marketing Strategy SIG is thrilled to announce that Prof. Abhishek Borah is the recipient of the 2023 Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research. A distinguished committee of three renowned scholars has acknowledged Prof. Borah’s outstanding research accomplishments as highly commendable and deserving of this prestigious award.
Prof. Borah holds the position of Associate Professor of Marketing at INSEAD, specializing in generating Managerial Insights from textual data and effect of marketing-related information and investor behavior. He obtained his Ph.D. in Marketing from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Prior to joining INSEAD, Prof. Borah served as a faculty member at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Prof. Borah’s research has been published in Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Information Systems Research, Strategic Management Journal, Marketing Science and others. His outstanding research has garnered multiple accolades, including the 2022 Sheth Foundation/Journal of Marketing Award, the MSI Robert D. Buzzell Best Paper Award in 2018 and the Lazaridis Prize in 2020-2021.
