Call for Papers: 2024 ISMS Marketing Science Conference in Sydney, Australia

G’day Colleagues,

The 46th ISMS Marketing Science Conference will be held from June 27-29, 2024, at the International Convention Center (ICC) in Sydney, Australia. The host is the School of Marketing of UNSW (University of New South Wales) Sydney, and the conference chairs are Harald van Heerde, Valentyna Melnyk, Maggie Dong, and John Roberts.

It has been 29 long years since the conference was last held in Australia, and we are looking forward to hosting a great event. Most importantly, while we took care of booking a spectacular conference venue (ICC) in a bustling location (Darling Harbour) inside a world-class city (Sydney), and we throw in a spectacular Sydney Harbour cruise too, what is most important are the people who come – that’s you! We would like to invite you to submit your best work and come to Sydney, to discuss it with your peers, while connecting to the marketing science community.

Abstracts and Special Sessions

Individual abstracts should be fewer than 1,800 characters (including spaces).

A special point of emphasis of the conference will be special sessions as they tend to generate the liveliest discussions and attract the largest crowds. We cordially invite anyone to propose a special session consisting of 4 presentations (with 4 different presenters) around a common topic. Please email Ellen Tralongo at Etralongo@informs.org for instructions on how to submit special session proposals.

Important Dates

• Abstract & Special Session Submission Deadline: January 15, 2024
• Abstract & Special Session Acceptance Notification: Acceptances will be advised on a rolling basis, with all decisions made by February 1, 2024
• Speaker Registration Deadline: March 18, 2024
