ISMS Marketing Science Conference Updates

Fall 2023

It’s time to start making plans for the which will be held at the International Convention Center in Darling Harbor, Sydney, Australia June 27-29, 2024. The conference is chaired by Harald van Heerde, Valentyna Melnyk, Maggie Dong and John Roberts from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). A call for abstracts will be posted soon and papers will be accepted on a rolling basis to allow extra time for those who need to make travel arrangements well in advance.

We are excited to announce that the 2025 ISMS Marketing Science Conference will be held in Washington DC June 12-14, 2025 chaired by Anindita Chakravarty, Hua Chen, Pengyuan Wang and Neil Bendle from the University of Georgia. The conference will be hosted at The Westin in downtown Washington DC and the chairs will seek to align with sustainability best practices for conferences.

Looking forward, the tentative date for the 2026 conference is June 25-27, 2026.  We are accepting proposals to chair the 2026 and 2027 ISMS Marketing Science Conferences. Chairing the conference is a rewarding experience and requires no financial commitments on the part of the chair(s) or their institution. INFORMS staff provides support with logistics and contracts. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please contact Elea Feit, ISMS VP Meetings at eleafeit@gmail.com as soon as possible for information on how to prepare a proposal. Proposals are due by January 2 and will be reviewed by the ISMS Meetings subcommittee, before being passed to the ISMS Board for final consideration and approval. By tradition, the conference is hosted outside of North America every third year.
