I want to create a repository of syllabuses of analytics courses that the marketing faculty teach.

For me, an analytics course is one where students analyze data to discover insights for an organization’s marketing. Depending upon the program (e.g., MS in analytics versus MBA), the verb analyze could manifest in students’ WRITING code versus RUNNING instructor-provided code files.

I request ELMAR members who teach analytics courses to consider emailing me their syllabus document. My TA and I will break down the syllabuses into modules, where we identify a module by (1) topic (e.g., retailing, pricing), (2) industry (e.g., entertainment, healthcare). For each module, we will report—again, sourced from the syllabuses—readings, cases, data files, code files, and analysis reports.
