JACR Webinar on Financial Decision Making
REGISTER TODAY: Free webinar on “Financial Decision Making,” to be held on Tuesday, October 17 (2:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern Time)
ABOUT THE ISSUE: Financial decisions are central to consumption. When making purchasing decisions, consumers consider their available budget and determine how they will finance the purchase. Consumers must also plan for long-term consumption by considering short- and long-term savings objectives and by identifying how they will invest money saved, as well as how they will borrow needed money and repay outstanding loans. The October issue of JACR explores a range of financial behaviors and decisions, including saving, borrowing, and investing. The latest research presented in this webinar offers valuable insights into how consumers make decisions about their finances and the role that marketers play in the decision making process.
The discussion will feature brief talks by authors and will be hosted by guest editors Abigail Sussman (University of Chicago), Hal Hershfield (University of California, Los Angeles), and Oded Netzer (Columbia University).
