The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Marketing Communications Special Interest Group invites submissions for three awards, to be given at the Winter ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Educators Conference.
- Innovations in Marketing Communications Research Award. This award recognizes pioneering scholarship in new and innovative research domains within Marketing Communications including, but not limited to, research in social media marketing, transformative consumer research, consumer neuroscience research, advertising, brand promotions, and sustainability and inclusiveness research. Both individual authors and collaborating research teams may apply for this award.
- Emerging Scholar in Marketing Communications Award. This award recognizes early-career scholars (within first five years of employment) who have informed the study of marketing communications through innovative, rigorous and impactful scholarship. The recipient of this award will be an individual who has a strong early career publication trajectory and has presented their work actively at conferences, and who also demonstrates an impact on their community through teaching and engagement.
- Marketing Communications Dissertation Proposal Award. This award recognizes outstanding promise and scholarly potential in Marketing Communications Research. Award. Candidates for this award should have completed a successful proposal defense within the 2023 calendar year. Candidates who completed their dissertation proposals in 2022 are not eligible for the proposal award.
Winners of each award receive a plaque and a $250 award from the Marketing Communications SIG.
