Ishita Chakrabortys and June Shis Dissertation-based Articles Win 2023 Don Lehmann Award
A three-member committee of renowned marketing scholars has selected Ishita Chakrabortys and Zijun (June) Shis dissertation-based articles as co-winners of 2023 Don Lehmann Award. This year there was a record number of entries for the award and given the high quality of entries, the committee also selected four finalists as honorable mentions. The details follow.
Ishita Chakraborty is Assistant Professor, Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Zijun (June) Shi is Assistant Professor of Marketing at HKUST Business School, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

The Lehmann Award, established in 1997 in honor of Prof. Donald R. Lehmann, Professor of Marketing at Columbia University recognizes the Best Dissertation-based Article published in the Journal of Marketing or Journal of Marketing Research. This annual award is nominated by any member of the academic community and selected by the Marketing Research SIG Awards Committee. This years committee received nineteen excellent nominations, resulting in a tough competitive pool.
The winners and finalist will be recognized at the MR SIG reception and award ceremony during the Summer 蹤獲扦夥厙 Conference at San Francisco. MR SIG welcomes you to the reception, which will be held on August 5th from 5:15-6:30pm.
