Marketing Dynamics Conference 2023

We invite all interested researchers to participate in the 20th anniversary of the Marketing Dynamics Conference (MDC), to be held at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, on September 27-29, 2023. MDC started in 2004 at Dartmouth and has grown into an annual centerpiece of the dynamic marketing community. MDC’s relatively small scale ensures a vibrant and intimate discussion on managerially relevant dynamic marketing problems and multiple networking opportunities for marketing dynamics, quantitative marketing, and managerial marketing scholars in a small boutique conference setting.

As usual, we invite submissions to Regular and PhD tracks: an extended abstract (4-5 pages single-spaced, including a title page) that states your contribution clearly and explains the role of marketing dynamics in it.

This year, in collaboration with International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM), we will have a special AI track associated with a subsequent special issue that seeks to explore the potential impact of AI advancements on various dimensions of marketing. The special track represents MDC’s tradition for a timely and highly interactive discussion of new research ideas, preliminary findings, and work-in-progress. Therefore, we invite submissions to this special track in the form of a title page, followed by 8-10 PowerPoint slides that describe the research question, theoretical framework, methodology, results, and practical implications. Participation in the special track is strongly encouraged but not mandatory for submission. IJRM Special Issue submission deadline is March 31, 2024 (see IJRM CfP for details).

Timeline:

  • Submission Deadline  August 6, 2023
  • Notification of Acceptance  August 14, 2023
  • Early Bird and Presenter Registration Deadline September 5, 2023

Submission Details:

  • Title page: List all co-authors, affiliations, and indicate who will be presenting and/or attending
  • Indicate the track: Regular, PhD, AI
