Webinar June 8: Gender Diversity in Advertising
Reminder to join us at our next webinar, Thursday, June 8 at 12 pm ET, open to all free of charge. Learn about best practices for future research by gender studies experts and JAR Editorial Review Board members (University of Texas at Austin), and (both at Stockholm School of Economics) and immediate past Editor-in-Chief of JAR, (Old Dominion University). ICORIA 2023 Writers Workshop, Thursday June 29th
Reminder for authors and prospective authors: dont miss the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds in beautiful Bordeaux, France: the European Advertising Academy annual conferences first-ever Writers Workshop on Crafting Industry Relevant Research. Hosted by the Journal of Advertising Research, International Journal of Advertising and Journal of Advertising, the workshop aims to help authors develop research that is relevant specifically to advertising practice.
Editors and AEs from the three hosting journals will share advice and tips. Panels and presentations will offer guidance on finding and working with industry partners, identifying topics industry cares about, designing more ecologically valid studies, and developing stronger managerial implications sections in papers. Breakout sessions will offer (but not require) authors the option to share early-stage ideas and receive feedback and suggestions.
Now in its 21st year, ICORIA (the ), will be held in Bordeaux (France) Thursday, June 29th Saturday, July 1st. The Writers Workshopscheduled for opening day (Thursday afternoon)is free and open to all advertising researchers except doctoral students, who are encouraged to attend instead.
Participants in the workshop are not required to register for ICORIA, although preference will be given to ICORIA attendees. To apply to participate, please fill out this form:
