JIBS Paper Development Workshop during the 2023 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Global Marketing SIG Conference

The Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) will host a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) during the 2023 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Global Marketing SIG Conference in Santiago, Chile (May 30-June 2). JIBS Editors, David A. Griffith (Texas A&M University) and Saeed Samiee (University of Tulsa), as well as JIBS Editorial Review Board (ERB) members, will be in attendance and participating in the PDW.

Purpose of This Event For?

The purpose of the PDW is to provide scholars who have not previously published in JIBS with developmental guidance, to increase the probability of acceptance at JIBS.Ìý While we hope that many of these papers will eventually be submitted toÌýJIBS, the purpose of the PDW is broader. Specifically, we wish to improve the quality of international marketing research and to advance the quality of international marketing published in our ecosystem of journals.

Who is This Event For?

We invite original papers fromÌýscholars who have not previously published inÌýJIBS. Submissions do not need to be accepted for the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Global Marketing SIG Conference to be accepted for the PDW.

How Can I Submit a Paper?

Papers should be submitted to Professor David A. Griffith, Editor, Global Marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, at dgriffith@mays.tamu.edu. The deadline for submissions isÌý15 April 2023 in the author’s time zone. Submissions must follow theÌý. Only a limited number of manuscripts will be accepted for the PDW.

What Should I Do if My Paper is Accepted?

Submitting authors will be notified of the results of the review process byÌý30 April 2023. At least one author of accepted papers will need toÌýregister for, and attend, the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Global Marketing SIG Conference, to participate in theÌýJIBSÌýPDW.
