New Co-Editors-in-Chief at Journal of Business Research
Elsevier is pleased to announce the appointments of Professors Mirella Kleijnen and Dipayan Biswas, to succeed Professors Anders Gustafsson and Naveen Donthu, as the Editors-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Research effective 1st January 2023.
Professor Mirella Kleijnen is Professor of Customer Experience Management in the School of Business and Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She also serves as a Vice Dean of Education on the Board of SBE. Her current research interests include customer experience management, adoption versus resistance toward innovation, digital marketing, and more recently health marketing.
Professor Dipayan Biswas is the Frank Harvey Endowed Professor of Marketing in the School of Marketing and Innovation at the University of South Florida, and his key research interests are in the domains of sensory marketing and digital marketing, with focus on topics related to retailing, food, and health. His research has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing, and the Journal of Marketing Research, among others.
We are also deeply grateful to Anders and Naveen for their excellent contribution and outstanding leadership during their tenure as Editors-in-Chief, which has transformed JBR into the premier journal it is today. Over the course of their tenure JBR has seen submissions rise 400% and the Impact Factor rise to around 11.0 by the latest rankings, as well as curated many special issues on under-researched and cutting-edge topics.
We look forward to welcoming Mirella and Dipayan to JBR and wish them every success in their work for JBR.
