My book, , published by Little, Brown, is now available. The book presents a new, more comprehensive theory and framework for understanding brand love, product love, and love of anything that isn’t a person. It contains content that will be new and useful to academic researchers, but is written as a popular crossover book that aspires to be accessible to the general reader. If you are interested in assigning it to students, I’d be happy to make a zoom visit to your class to discuss it and I can provide supportive teaching materials.

It has been selected as an “Editor’s Pick” for best non-fiction on Amazon. Here are some quotes from well known readers.

  • “Love is the one emotion that keeps us hopeful and sane in a world of chaos. Aaron Ahuvia writes beautifully about this wonderful state of being in all of its manifestations. Read and learn how your self-concept is so girded and gifted by your love of things.” Philip Kotler
  • Were all living in a material world. But while were surrounded by things, we have a lot less of a sense of how those things make us who we are. In this exciting and engaging read, Dr. Ahuvia synthesizes recent discoveries from psychology, neuroscience, biology, and marketing to help us better understand our things and ourselves. Jonah Berger
