The Eighth Subsistence Marketplaces Conference (originally planned for 2020!) is tentatively scheduled for May 19-21, 2023, at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
Please see our recently launched journal and web portal at  for information about the stream of work on subsistence marketplaces.
Also tentatively planned is the Third Subsistence Marketplaces Bottom-Up Immersion Conference in Mexico, May 22-25, 2023, (originally planned for 2020), with field visits, observations and conversations in rural, semi-urban and urban settings, epitomizing our unique bottom-up approach.
These are stand alone opportunities to participate.
