When do you call something mine? What does it take for people to feel ownership for their work, a brand, an organization, or even their country? Is there a relationship between happiness and ownership?
The concepts of possession, ownership and property (we call them POP) play a fundamental role for human behaviour, social interactions and economic transactions and have been studied by various disciplines.
In a new special collection, we (= the Institute for Marketing & Consumer Research at WU Vienna) have now bundled and curated literature on POP (Possession, Ownership & Property) and we are happy to announce that anyone interested can benefit from this resource.
