Call for 2022 Award Nominations & Applications
The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Selling & Sales Management SIG will confer the Excellence in Research Award and the Excellence in Teaching Award at the 2022 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Summer Educators’ Conference.
The Excellence in Research Award is intended to recognize the author(s) of a professional selling and/or sales management article published during 2021 that has made a significant contribution to the sales discipline. Please nominate an article by submitting a complete citation and letter supporting the article for this award. Submission materials / articles will be reviewed by an independent panel of sales scholars. The author(s) of the chosen paper will receive a plaque and will be recognized during the Selling & Sales Management SIG reception at the 2022 Summer Educators’ Conference.
The Excellence in Teaching Award is given to an individual associated with an AACSB accredited university whose primary teaching responsibilities and interests are in the sales field. Submission materials will be reviewed by an independent panel of sales educators and may include an application portfolio consisting of the applicant’s:
- Current vitae
- Statement of teaching philosophy
- Overview of teaching activities
- Description of teaching innovations
- Description of curriculum development
- Description of any other contributions to sales education and teaching
- Description of teaching awards and recognition
- Other materials that exhibit the applicant’s teaching excellence (please do not include any type of formal student evaluations)
Deadline for nominations/applications is April 15, 2022 and should be submitted electronically to:
