Mental Health Matters: Making Mental Well-Being a Marketing Research Priority
Date: Friday, 8 October, 10am EDT
Chairs: Jane Machin, Ann Mirabito, Elizabeth Crosby, Natalie Adkins and Justine Rapp Farrell.
Details: During the 90-minute synchronous seminar prior to the 2021 ACR conference we will define the scope of mental well-being within marketing, review existing literature, and identify areas of opportunity. Moderated by the workshop organizers, we will also discuss concerns about working in this domain and conclude with practical advice to help participants feel confident tackling research at the intersection of mental health and marketing. Discussions will continue during the 2021 ACR Conference with a 75-minute interactive workshop to help participants translate existing research interests and methodologies into the area of consumer mental health. Our end goal is to establish an ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Marketing and Mental Well-Being Special Interest Group (MWB-SIG) that will facilitate interaction between academics, practitioners and policy-makers to foster and disseminate research related to mental health and marketing.
Pre-Forum Preparation: Interested participants are invited to join the digital collaboration board for more information, some readings and to introduce themselves. This will help us tailor the forum to best meet researcher needs and questions. (or copy and paste: )
