The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø-RMSIG Small Research Grants was established this year (2021) to encourage and provide research funding for doctoral students and recently graduated assistant professors working on topics related to relationship marketing. We received several excellent proposals from a diverse group of scholars from all over the world who are studying a wide range of topics such as the intersection of sales and customer relationships, role of AI/ML in managing customers, social responsibility, among others. Methodologically, the proposals included a variety of means to address their research questions including experiments, surveys, Big Data/ML methods, as well as qualitative methods. The selection committee for this year’s award included three members of the leadership team of the Relationship Marketing SIG. While all of the fifteen proposals were of high quality, the selection committee has chosen Divya Anand (University of MissouriÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýPeter Nguyen (Miami University- Ohio) as this year’s recipients of the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø-RMSIG Small Research Grants.
