Targeting Research on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in PhD Recruitment
Westminster Business School (WBS) at the University of Westminster (UK) has taken on a special step to raise awareness of and enhance support for research on EDI by creating a PhD Fee Waiver vacancy in Marketing. The university is recognised as a leader in progressive EDI thought and practice in the UK HE sector and beyond. Its recent success is evidenced in the Times Higher Education Impact Submissions 2020: 19th in world for Gender Equality (SDG5), 23rd for Reduced Inequalities (SDG10), 49th for Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG12). As part of the commitment to funding provision and researcher development to raise awareness of and enhance support for EDI, WBS has created this PhD Fee Waiver vacancy in Marketing.
Inspired by the ÂÜÀòÉç¹Ù꿉۪s recent initiative in Better Marketing for a Better World, Professor Charles Cui at WBS has designed a project for this PhD Fee Waiver vacancy, inviting a potential candidate to join the PhD Programme focusing on critical factors and their inter-relations (in marketing, advertising or consumer behaviour) that enhance equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in societies (developing and developed countries).
