Goodyear Innovation Challenge

Introduction

Competition for US Master's students in business, design, and engineering

Dear Colleagues:

It is again the season for Goodyear Innovation Challenge, the annual innovation competition for graduate students in business, design, and engineering across the nation around new mobility within the context of the complexities that we face at Goodyear. I am happy to announce that Weatherhead of Management at Case Western Reserve University is partnering with Goodyear once again to host this event at Case.

Last year we had the best showing yet, with 23 team information submissions from students at 13 different and diverse universities with the top 5 teams representing Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, UT Austin McCombs, and Kent State at the two-day hackathon. Watch the video to get more of a feel for this event:

The top prize is $5000, AND participants have a chance to interview with Goodyear’s Akron Innovation Lab!

Steps to participate:

Go to the Goodyear Innovation Challenge website and submit their team information

Download the brief on above website and submit a proposal via email to designchallenge@case.edu by October 11th, in response to the prompt and instructions on the brief

If they come in top 5, join us on November 14th-15th for a two day hackathon at the think[box] makerspace on the Case Western Reserve University campus!

Your help is greatly appreciated!
